Things that have worked for me.

They may or may not work for you.

Try them and see where they take you.

Be kind.

Be curious.

Be interested.

Be interesting.

Curate your social media.

Curate your timelines.

More positivity.

Less negativity.

No one cares.

The present is all that matters.

Enjoy where you are.

The future doesn’t exist.

Neither does the past.

0-5 are the most important ages of your life.

They dictate everything.

Understand what happened during that time.

It dictates your subconscious.


The most powerful entity in your life.

Understand it.

Do that with therapy, writing, meditation or psychedelics.

Understand yourself to understand the world.

Focus on what you control.

Not anything else.

No one else’s opinion of you should be higher than your opinion of you.

Stop pleasing people.

Work hard.

Consistency wins.

Learn basic finance.

Money compounds.

Knowledge compounds.

Relationships compound.

Deepen relationships.

Invest in all of them early.

Surround yourself with good people.

Drop negative ones.

Drink more water.

Especially while drinking alcohol.

Having water while drinking doesn’t make you less drunk.

2 advil or Tylenol + a litre of water after a night of drinking will save you in the morning.

Try new things.

Fail more often.

More failure equals more success.

We all have to start somewhere.

No one is perfect.

Don’t envy anyone.

Don’t idolize anyone.

We’re all faulty.

Idolize characteristics of your role models.

Integrate the best into your life.

You deserve to be here.

You’re not an imposter.

No one is any more or less important than you.

Learn how to tell good stories.

Walk your own path.

Reading is a hack to life.

Write more.

Thoughts are just that, thoughts.

Nothing more, nothing less.

Just because you think something doesn’t mean it’s real.

Doesn’t mean you have to act on it.

Learn to calm your mind down.

Learn how to breathe.

Take more deep breaths.

Show up for yourself.

Show up for others.

Words are cheap, actions aren’t.

No one cares what you say. 

It’s about what you do.

Take ownership of your life.

Understand where you excel and where you fall short.

Do more of your strengths.

Less of your weaknesses.

Your education doesn’t stop after school.

It just begins.

Always be learning.

Learn about subjects outside what you know.

Follow your curiousities.

It’s never too late to start again.

Death is inevitable.

It’ll strike your family sooner than you know it.

Accept it.

Appreciate people while they’re here.

Don’t take them for granted.

The future doesn’t always look like the past.

Yet history does rhyme.

Money runs politics.

Social media destroys your brain.

Take back your attention.

Learn to be bored.

Go for more walks.

The opportunities to learn are endless.

Don’t squander them.

Don’t let your ego control you.

You’re not special.

Enjoy partying when you’re younger.

Go to more parties.

Strangers are just friends you haven’t made yet.

Get outside your bubble.


Travel to opposite sides of the world.

Do what feels scary.

The brain is the most powerful organ.

You’re more powerful than you think.

Drugs are amazing and deadly.

Be careful but try them in safe environments with good people.

They can change your life.

Stop being so judgy.

Don’t jump to conclusions.

Don’t make assumptions.

Always try your best.

Your word is everything.

Search for people you disagree with.

Listen to them and don’t judge.

Understand their side.

The 3 most important decisions in your life.

Where you live.

What you work on.

Who you marry.

The last is the most important.

Every other decision is largely trivial.

Try new foods.

Find a workout you enjoy.

Keep doing it.

Be grateful for your health.

Be grateful for what you have.

Be grateful for your circumstances.

Don’t live to work.

Work to live.

Life changes in an instant.

Stop and smell the roses once in a while.
