Day 925 - Day 415 - Apr.29.21 - Social media is killing our brain
One day these books are going to be a goldmine of information. Just cut the ones you like and forget about the others. People will see your genius one day. They’ll know. I think the people close to you know, you’re going to be a rockstar. You have it in you. I know it and I know if I want to accomplish my goals, I have to believe. I have to commit to the process and do it over and over again for decades. Can you do that? Yes, 100%. Writing is going to get me there, I know it. Always do it on your terms and don’t worry about the noise. That’s what life mostly is, noise. We mostly choose to listen to the noise and let it pollute our brains. Our phones are doing this every day. Watched the NFL draft today and seeing all these kids wherever they went on their phones. Probably checking Tik Tok, Snap or Insta. These apps are killing our brains. They’re programming us the way social media companies want us to. A person’s social media will tell you exactly how they think and what’s important to them. Yet we’ve forgotten how to communicate in person. To talk to strangers. To say hi to random people. We’re becoming zombies. I refuse to let my brain be polluted by these apps. Don’t let that happen. Focus on challenging yourself, pushing yourself and your body to the limits of what’s possible. Live every day as if it were your last and learn as if you were going to live forever. Keep going, you’re doing great!
