Namaste friend!

Welcome to Anichexperience, my digital home online. My name is Anish and I’m a doctor turned healthcare venture capitalist and writer. My journey started outside of Toronto, Canada born into an Indian immigrant household. After high school, I moved to Scotland to study medicine. 6 years later and after graduating as a doctor, decided to leave all of that to enter the world of healthcare venture capital. That chapter took me from Amsterdam to Montreal and back to Toronto.

On the personal side, I’ve been spending the last few years working on myself through reading, writing and meditating. I’ve read and taken notes on almost 300 books (Library here), written over 900 blog posts (blog here) and meditated for hours than you think (thanks Sam Harris).

Also ran a marathon and wrote 2 Amazon Best-Sellers titled ‘From Here to There: A Niche Guide to Career Transitions’ and ‘Stolen Thoughts’ in 2023.

Since I started writing back in 2018, I created this page as a helpful place for new visitors to discover some of my favourite content.

It’s easier than wandering through 900+ posts (although if you’d like, you can see my database here).

All posts before Jan.1.2024 are available for free. All posts after Jan.1.2024 will be posted to my Substack on a weekly basis, then released all at once the following year.

If you like what you see, I’d recommend you sign up for my Substack by clicking here. You can also subscribe to my podcast ‘Anichexperience’ on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts.

I’m going to be doing this for the rest of my life so I hope you join me on the journey. It won’t be smooth but it sure as hell will be fun.

Please enjoy!

Stay in Touch:

I write about controversial topics and will continue to do so. We need more people being honest and having open dialogue, especially as we enter a difficult decade.
