Day 1348 - Jun.6.22  - You’re never better than the process

Consistency over many years is how you’ll get to the top. Yet even when you’ve tasted success, know that you have to focus even harder on the work and providing value to people. The noise will get louder, the distractions will be even more available and you’ll have much more attention than you do now. Remember, stick to the basics. Focus on doing the mundane work consistently over many years. Success comes from the actual work, not from the distractions around the work. As people become more successful, their egos tend to get inflated and they begin to think of themselves as better than the process. You’re never better than the process. In fact, you have to focus on the process even more when you get those successes. Time management and delegation will be the most important skills you need to acquire yet you always need to make sure you have time for yourself. Never think your own time is not a priority because you need it. You need time to think and ponder and roam on your own to really accomplish what you want. I’m excited for this next chapter because I know all the work you’ve put in already is going to pay off massively yet you can never forget about the work and the process. Stay consistent, everything else is just noise.
