Day 724 – Day 219 Q – Oct.14.20 – Blind spots

In the moment. That’s what’s important. But also trust your judgement because you’ve been in many circumstances where you can get a read on who people are. But listen. Listen to people around you, particularly your family and close friends. If you believe one thing but a lot of people around you are telling you something completely different, listen to them. Because you’re blinded what you cannot see. That’s the whole point, you literally can’t see it. Everyone has blind spots no matter how successful or not. Some people’s are bigger than others but just because you may understand the world a bit better than other people doesn’t mean you don’t have them as well. So listen. Understand where the feedback is coming from but listen to it. Internalize it. Think about it. Reflect on it. Then figure out how to improve it. Life should be about closing your blind spots and making them as small as possible. You’re never going to completely eliminate them because everyone has them, but you can definitely reduce its size. Lifelong blindspot closer. That’s who you should be. Listen, understand, reflect, learn and then do.
