Day 731 – Day 226 Q – Oct.21.20 – Mistakes

Acknowledge your mistakes and learn from them. Take accountability serious and hold yourself to the standards people want to see but also what you want to see. How do you want to treat people in the world? How do you want to be perceived? It should be as a learner, nice guy with good energy, willing to work hard but also loves to have fun. To be that guy, who you already are, is to acknowledge and learn from mistakes. To be fully self-aware. To understand how your actions can be perceived by others. Remember most people have not had as much formal education and variety of life experiences you’ve had. They also have their own internal biases for how to perceive the world. But understand their perspective and where they’re coming from and then you’ll see how your actions will be perceived. You will never be perfect and always make mistakes in other people’s minds. But if you show up, stay loyal, be interested in people and provide as much help as you can with your experiences, that’s all you can do. So keep screwing up along the way because how else do you learn?
