The BRICS + Saudi will win this decade.
Who are the BRICS?
BRICS stands for Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
Today, Iran and Argentina, countries with a combined population of 125+ million people, applied to be a part of this group (Source here).
Saudi Arabia will likely join them soon.
This group holds 42% of the world’s population and has held an annual summit since 2009 (Source here).
They’re going to win this next decade.
Why do I believe that?
They own most of the world’s land mass.
They own access to most of the world’s commodities and infrastructure.
America and the West dominated for the 20th-century post World War 2, but these countries for the last several decades have set themselves up to win the next few decades.
They’re building the world’s infrastructure.
They’re trading with the rest of the world.
They own most of the world’s energy supplies.
They own access to most of the land and territories.
They have more of the population.
They’re investing more in the education of their own populations, relative to the West.
They’re now doing energy deals in their own currencies instead of using the US dollar, the current world reserve currency.
We’re going to look back at history at the moment when America sanctioned the Russian central bank and took out all their foreign reserves as a seminal moment in the history of world currencies.
America basically told countries that if it doesn’t like you, it’ll just take you out of the global monetary system.
That could work for Cuba and Iran, but it’s going to backfire spectacularly because they did it to Russia, who directly supplies a lot of Europe’s energy.
Their policymakers were too stupid to realize the second and third-order consequences of their actions. They curtailed to the woke crowd too much and it’s going to blow up in their space.
If I’m a country around the world that has any policies America doesn’t like, why would I allow my currency reserves to be taken out at any time by Washington elites who are so short-term focused and too stupid to understand the actions of their consequences?
Every central banker, at least the smart ones, understand how foolish it was for America to make that mistake.
I can bet you Xi is asking his own government how his country would be affected if America did the same thing if they ever went to war over Taiwan.
He and the rest of the world’s leaders, especially the autocrats, know they need to diversify away from the American dollar.
It’s why they’ve been buying far more gold over the last decade rather than US treasuries.
It’s why they’re now transacting energy in their own currencies.
They know America is a failing empire and it’s falling in front of our eyes.
The Roe V. Wade decision is a prime example. Next, it’s going to be access to contraception and gay marriage.
America is moving back while the rest of the world is moving forward.
Now, this could still blow up in the BRICS and Saudi’s faces.
They know if they don’t govern properly with a long term focus on the future of their economy, their heads will be on the chopping block. It depends on how they handle the next crises in their respective countries and how they let power affect them. Do they choose to invest in their citizens or themselves?
Do they line their own pockets, restrict personal liberties and crush innovative ideas, or do they actually help advance society forward?
Are they going to become more nationalist and protectionist or help the world advance and inspire the younger generations to help build a more prosperous world?
Today most people in the West would say all these countries have terrible human rights abuses, are awful to their citizens and are trying to destroy democracy.
That might be right from the classic Western democratic perspective, but if you’ve grown up your entire life on the other side of the world with different propaganda and a different belief system, you have different thoughts.
You see this as an opportunity.
The rest of the world knows this.
America has run the world with its hand of power for far too long for these countries. Using their dollar and military to destroy countries’ economies and fight unnecessary wars they’ve never won.

Many people around the world can’t wait till America fails.
Right now, they seem to be self-destructing and that’s the biggest threat to America. It’s not an external problem, it’s an internal political problem. But it’s not just a right vs. left problem, it’s an ultra-elite vs. the rest of us problem.
Inequality in the West has not been this high since the Gilded age before the Great Depression. It’s not getting better. Every day central bankers choose markets over inflation is how the problem gets worse. More and more of the middle class gets eroded where it becomes between the elites, in particular, the ultra-elites and everyone else.
That’s a very destructive society and every time something like that happens in history, something breaks. Don’t be surprised if/when the West breaks.
This is welcome news for the BRICS + Saudi and the rest of the world. They’re waiting for this outcome. They may not have to do anything but sit and watch America self-destruct under its own stupidity.
So what does this mean?
It means the world gets split in two, the democratic West + Australia vs. the BRICS + Saudi and the rest of the world. It means autocracy will likely win and individual liberties around the world will be put in question. It will be about the goals of the state and its autocratic leaders rather than the individual. It means free thought will be restricted and everything must go along party lines.
This is a threat to everything I’ve worked for because I know how important free speech is to progress. Whether or not you agree with me, you should always fight for everyone to be able to speak their mind. We need people discussing both sides of an argument in order to progress. Yet looking at the future the West has set us up for, particularly America, I’m not very hopeful.
In America, politicians and wealthy elites have used lobbyists, aka legalized bribery, to push their corporate agenda for decades and further enrich those at the top while generations of us have suffered and had our quality of life slowly decrease every day. You could argue this is a global issue, but it feels like a bigger issue in America.
Right now, so goes America goes the world.
We’re at a tipping point where America has a choice. Do they choose to reform the system, punish those who have committed white-collar crimes, re-shape their failing institutions and invest more money in their population’s future or do they continue the status quo of enriching Wall Street, politicians and those at the top while the rest of us suffer?
The choice is yours America.
Because this next decade, if you don’t do anything, you along with your Western counterparts will self-destruct while the BRICS + Saudi sit on the side with popcorn and toast your demise.
