I promised you I would get there. I made a bet. I wrote it down. You didn’t believe me. Spent years taking the steps but didn’t put real belief behind it. Then 2021 came along. An experiment. 100 blog posts in a year about anything. A month later, Gamestop broke the market. You kept digging. Following your curiosity. And writing every step of the way. You didn’t know where it would lead you. Frankly you didn’t care. You just kept writing. You were hesitant to share it. Want to keep it private. But you kept working. Trying to get better at your craft. At crafting stories. At crafting words. At bringing ideas together that hadn’t been thought of before. You didn’t care if it was good or bad. You just kept showing up. Again. And again. And again. Through all the darkness and grief. Always writing. Always choosing to create something which had not bee seen before. Then you hit 1000. A number that seemed unreachable. Beyond your wildest dreams. Now you’re here. No longer scared. No longer afraid. No longer not believing in yourself. You did the work when no one else did. Keep doing that and you will get there. I promise you will get there.
