Day 772– Day 267 Q – Dec.2.20 – Life is a single-player game
Don’t think about what was or what will be, think about what is. What is in front of you. What every day gives you the opportunity to do. It’s not about looking to your 5 year or 10 year time frame but looking at what you’ve accomplished till now. It’s about working on yourself every day to be the best version of yourself you can be. You’re playing a game against yourself, not anyone else. Your happiness is not dependent on anyone else’s and if it is, you need to think hard about why that is. Life is a single player game. It’s about looking yourself in the mirror every day and understanding how you can reach your full potential. Not the potential that someone has in mind for you, or what other people think you should achieve. It’s about you and your goals and your habits and your happiness. Everyone is constantly chasing the idea of what will be. Of what will come when they achieve x goal. Guess what, once you do, you’re only happy temporarily and then you move on. Money will never make you happy, fame will never make you happy. You have to be happy with yourself. With the choices that you make and the people you choose to spend your time with. For those that don’t value you as much as you value them, move on. You don’t need deadweight in your life. You need people who are going to positively contribute to your experiences and relationships where you both feel valued. Don’t worry about what will come, worry about who you are today. Are you happy? F*** yea and remember you control that.
