Feb.1.24 - Day 1950 - Consistency

You cannot beat consistency. Showing up again and again no matter the outcome. When you fail. When you succeed. When everything is going great. And when everything is going to shit. You cannot beat a man who shows up. Again and again. Who doesn’t hide from the moment. Who doesn’t hide from fear. Who doesn’t shy away from the unknown. Who continues to be there and put in as much effort as he can. You will never beat that person. Discipline and consistency are severely underrated. To see people put in work day in and day out for years and decades is the goal. Those are the role models. The people who keep showing up no matter what. Doesn’t mean they’re not scared. Doesn’t mean they don’t have their bad days. Doesn’t mean they’re secure about what they’re doing. But they keep coming no matter what. That was Kobe. That was Michael. That was Brady. That was Tiger. That is Nadal. That is Lebron. Excellence. Every single day. The process if what makes you great, not the outcomes. The outcomes are a given when you consistently show up to work. It’s to be expected. Doesn’t mean you won’t fail along the way and it likely will take longer than you think. But you will get there. Keep being consistent
