Day 717 – Day 212 Q – Oct.7.20 – Don’t try and predict the future

Don’t try and predict the future. You can’t. You never will and neither will no one else. You can control your own actions in preparation for that future. Do you want to be part of the solution or part of the problem? Do you want to leave the world having made an impact on people’s lives that they’ll remember or pursue your own greed and goals in spite of that? You have to decide and I think the former is way better. To do that, you have to guess what the future looks like and figure out your way to make your mark. It has to start small, at the grass roots level because small changes over long periods of time when done consistently end up in major advances forward. It’s everyday. The small things matter. Think long term because even though you can’t plan for it, you can certainly make educated guesses and prepare. Btu that uncertainty is exciting because you can determine, to an extent, what you want that future to be for you. Pimp said it the best, ‘you’re the only one looking at the movie playing in your head. Why would you make it a shitty movie?’ So be grateful for the opportunity to exist and create the future you want.
