Day 1246 - Feb.24.22 - Once you’re at the top, send yourself back to the bottom and begin again
You’ll never win in the court of public opinion. To be successful, you must be looked at as crazy. You must be seen as weird. As not normal. Unlike who other people are. But you have to have a dream and executie on it. Read ‘Winning’ today by Tim Grover, the guy who trained MIchael Jordan and Kobe. He laid out how winners are different. Everyone can be a winner but few have the courage, discipline and resilience, work ethic and ungodly belief in themselves to get there. Even when they win, the best know it’s always temporary. The work never stops. Once you’re at the top, send yourself back to the bottom and begin again. Work even harder. Conquer the darkness in your mind with even greater intensity than you ever have. Expect the hate and criticism to get louder as you become more successful. Don’t mind it. It’s from people on the sidelines who don’t know what it’s like to be in the arena, particularly in today’s day and age. The world looks different but the principles of success have remained the same since Ancient civilizations. Work hard, show up, stay disciplined and don’t mind the hate. It means you’re doing something right with your life. Forget about the court of public opinion, only worry about yours.
