Damn dude. 2021. You made it through the year. Honestly, it was one of the best years of my life. I’ve had a lot of great years but I think I’ll cherish this one more in the future. I spent so much time with family. Just sitting there, being around them, watching them grow up. This year started in Montreal when I was just getting comfortable with everything and now been stuck at home for 9 months. Tbh though it’s been great. Besides missing big parties and bars and going out, I never would have thought when I moved to Amsterdam I’d be back staying at my parent’s house while working as a healthcare venture capitalist. Life is crazy and you can’t predict it. You will go through some difficult times coming up, I’m sure of it. It’s all about perspective and mindset. You can do anything you set your mind to, just put in the work. Put in the grind because that’s what life is about at the end of the day, it’s about the daily grind and committing yourself to doing something more than you could have imagined. Don’t forget how you got here because this family is the reason you are who you are. They’ve sacrificed everything to bust their ass so they could give you this life. Now it’s time to do something about it. It’s time to go reach your potential and make your mark on the world. Patience, slow and steady and show up everyday. Just a little bit makes a world of difference. So goodbye 2020, we had a bitter sweet relationship but now onto bigger and better things.
