May.21.24 - Day 2060 - Focus on control

It’s about control. What do you control and what do you not control. That is the secret. Focus on what is up to you and let everything else go. And I mean everything. Stop blaming other people for things that happen to you. They’re not in your control. How you react and act in these situations is up to you. And you can train yourself to be better. To not react as quickly. TO not let your emotions get the best of you. It takes time, effort and failure. All things people don’t realize the value of. Instead of focusing on how other people are or what they think of you, focus on what you think of you. Do you like who you are? No? Then fix it. Focus on mini improvements every day. And I mean mini. Don’t run a marathon tomorrow but go for a walk for 5 minutes. Even a single minute of intervention and action can radically shift your life. Do that for the rest of your life and there is no ceiling on what you can do and how far you can go. Baby steps. Mini improvements every day. Focused on you and improving yourself. That’s it. Everything else will come and go. Some good. Some bad. Most of it is not up to you. You can’t change anyone but you can change you. Focus on control. On what you can and can’t. It’s about control.
