Day 1197 - Jan.6.22 - You need meaning in life

Keep yourself as routine as you can. Eliminate wasteful decisions. Don’t use brainpower on things that largely don’t matter. What colour you wear today isn’t really a big decision so keep it simple. To be fair, you also need spontaneity in your life. Because life can start to feel awfully similar day to day. No excitement. Not much to look forward to. Lack of purpose and direction. We all feel that. My question to you is what are you going to do about it? If you’re serious, write down the 1 major goal you have in your life right now. Repeat it to yourself twice a day for a month. By then it’ll become routine. You now have a purpose. Every day your brain is training your subconscious and the more you believe in what you want, the more your brain will look for opportunities where no one else is looking. You’ll start to notice signs and patterns on how you evolve your thinking. But most importantly you have purpose. It allowed those at concentration camps to survive as per Victor Frankl. You need meaning in life because purpose can push you through a lot. You need to live for something. Start that routine. It’ll change your life.
