Meet inspiring people. They give you so much energy. Hearing them articulate their vision and then watching them execute on it pushes you to do more. Saw a friend today who’s starting his own TV show. Never been in TV, never been in a show, never produced anything. Yet he had a vision to create a story that he hasn’t seen in media before. His story. As a Nigerian guy who was born in the US, moved and lived all over the world, went to business school in New York and is just trying to make it. That’s the story he pitched me at the beginning of may when I met him. Had some cool ideas but never done this before. 2 months later and he’s done more than I could have ever imagined. He’s filmed a teaser and hoste a big event in New York where he got Forbes, Vogue and Business Insider to cover it. Now he’s launching it on a world tour with events all over. Awesome to watch and hear his vision come to life. Spent a few hours with him today and walked away so inspired. Time to do more. Time to execute on my vision. I know I’ll get there. Now it’s time to make it happen.
