Day 1349 - Jun.7.22 - Understand the stories of your heroes

Understand the stories of your heroes. Listen to them speak about their past and how they got to their success. Understand their struggle and their failures, not their successes. Listen to them discuss their process and how they were able to work to achieve their success. Appreciate how difficult it is for you to stick your neck out and go out on a limb, especially in today’s cancel culture. Expect to be canceled and ridiculed in today’s day and age if you want to be successful. Hatred and criticism are the price of success but don’t mind it because it means you’re on the right path. There will be many years of darkness and it’ll feel like you’re going backward. That’s ok, that’s all part of the plan. You need hardship and tough times in order to grow. You need difficult moments and lonely nights to appreciate all the love around you. You need dark times to see the light in your eyes. The world has and always will look bad but turn off your phone and TV and get outside your comfort zone. Go fail at things. Find someone who gets you and is happy with who you are. Someone who will be there in the good times and the bad. Never forget about them as you ascend because you need those people to keep you grounded. Keep your ego in check. Got all of this watching a documentary about George Carlin. What a legend!
