Day 873 - Day 363 Q - Mar.8.21 - Write no matter what
Keep writing. When you don’t know what to write about, write anyway. Writing clarifies thinking. It allows you to see if you truly know what you’re saying and understand it in a way to convey to others. It forces you to reconcile your own brain and challenge yourself on whether you know a topic or not. If you can’t give someone your writing and have them understand your perspective, you’re doing a bad job as a communicator. Your job as you continue to grow old and learn more is to clarify your thinking. It’s to make concepts easy enough to understand that you can inspire people to piggyback what you learned and outshine you. Why do you write? Honestly for me but also my legacy. What do I want to be known as? I want to be someone who is known for giving and sharing knowledge with the world. I want to be known as a teacher and author more than an investor. Sure it would be nice to make money but if you’re not helping the next generation succeed and get ahead, what are you really doing it for? Status and prestige is all crap because it’s society’s way of enslaving you. By believing these things are important, it forces you into a world where you have to play those games. Forget about those games because they’re not important. What’s important is your happiness, your family, your friends, your body and your mind. As long as you keep those in mind, you’ll always be successful. Success lies in the eyes of the beholder and I’d say you’re doing pretty great already
