Nov.25.23 - Day 1884 - Memories from a wedding week in India

Moments of happiness from a wedding week that was truly something else. Seeing Nandita on my own eating Pau Bhaji in a 5 star hotel. Drinking and eating amazing food at a bar in Bombai during the Cricket world cup final that India lost. The cab ride back with me, Tonaiii, Lucy and Theresa. Hearing how rules are arbitrary and that Lucie had soggy bread instead of ice cream. Seeing the group try to do the dance in the airport on the way to Goa. Walking along the beach at sunset with the cream. Happy hour pina coladas on the beach. Having shisha and playing 21 questions. Getting drinks poured down our throats at the Mehndi. Dancing with Nandita, Adi and her parents at the wedding. Playing cricket and watch Karan get man of the match for an amazing catch to get Adi out. Singing Otis and Break w/ Tonaiii in the room before the sangeet. Crushing the dance I choreographed and having Pele come up after to accept defeat. Watching everyone stress out when they couldn’t find me 10 minutes before the dance. Being the last one on the dance floor ever night. Having fries at 5 am with Lucie, Theresa and Tonaiii. Seeing everyone be happy, healthy and smiling the whole week. A week full of memories I’ll never forget.
