Day 411 – Federal election and last journal entry in Journal 1 – Oct.21.19

I feel like ending this chapter on a federal election is probably a good thing because like the candidates, I feel as though I’ve been on some type of rollercoaster. Since I started writing this journal last year right as I was about to go to New York, I can’t help but reflect on what an amazing journey I’ve been on to get here. The last year of my life has been one of the happiest of my whole life because I’m finally living and making decisions based on my terms. Going from Toronto to Amsterdam to Toronto to Montreal has been a bit crazy and awesome altogether. It’s hard to fathom for me I was in medical school at some point because this life is so different but I’m so happy I’m on this path. Take your time. Work on yourself. Stop and breathe. Stay in the moment and really stay in it. Love your friends and enemies. Work hard but don’t forget to enjoy the ride. Get out of your comfort zone. Do things you enjoy. Always try and better yourself. Try to be better every day. You only have one life so use it and get the most out of it you can. Onto the next one!
