Play the game:

Play the game.

Life is not about winning or losing.

It’s about showing up to play the game.

Most of us choose to hide.

To be afraid.

To shy away from the world.

Watching shows on our couch next to our dog.

Sitting scrolling through our phone wasting time.

Instead of choosing to try.

To fail.

To show up.

Why?

Mostly because of fear.

The fear of judgement.

The fear of self-doubt.

The fear of other people laughing or criticizing you.

Guess what?

They don’t care.

No one does.

No one is paying attention to you as much as you think you are.

Watched a video where this guy interviewed a billionaire.

And he said something that stuck out.

‘At 20, you think everyone is paying attention to you.

At 40, you realize most people aren’t paying attention to you.

At 60, you learn no one was ever paying attention to you.’

Don’t let other people’s judgments and criticisms hold you back from trying.

From attempting.

From showing your gift to the world.

Life is about showing up.

It’s about trying.

It’s about playing the game.

And sometimes we need others to push us, even if it comes from the unlikeliest of sources.

Was reminded of all of this watching ‘Quiz Lady’, a hilarious movie that’s 100% worth your time.

Play the game.
