Day 1071 - Sep.22.21 - Let other people talk

Shut up and listen. Let other people talk. Let other people tell you how good they are and how they’re so smart. Unless you’re asked, don’t butt in. Even if it means sitting at a 3.5 hour dinner and asking 2 questions. Stay quiet. Observe. Watch what people talk about and how they react. Those that want to speak will. Let them. The smartest person in the room is usually not the loudest. The loudest may think he’s the smartest, but he isn’t. Also when people say ‘I don’t want to toot my own horn, but…’ it means they’re bragging. Let them brag. Let them tell you how smart they think they are. Stay quiet. Listen. Understand what they’re saying and come back to reality. Centre yourself on results, not just what they say. People don’t care about you or your opinions, they only care about themselves. The loudest want the world to know how smart they are and how much better they are compared to others. Remember, it usually means they aren’t. Pay attention to those that say the least. They often have the most answers. Watch the observers, not the loudspeakers. Let them make fun of your opinions. Let them think you’re crazy. Let them talk down on you. You know what’s really going on so why do you need someone else to tell you? You don’t. Listen to your mind. Really listen. Cut out the noise, dig deep and understand how you think. Don’t let the loudest people persuade you away from how you think. Understand what they’re saying and listen to them, but take everything with a grain of salt. Let them lie. Let them tell their truth. You know your truth and what really happened.  Don’t spend more time than you have to with people that don’t care about you. It’s not worth your time, EVER! It’s ok because I know the goal. I’m going to be more successful than all of them. Watch me. Don’t listen to what I say, watch what I do.
