Shoutout to Rinks:

Shoutout to Rinks.

Our rock.

Our superhero.

Our role model.

Our gossip partner.

Our therapist.

Our Uber driver.

Our advisor.

Our confidant.

Our everything.

Thank you.

Seriously.

For everything you do.

You are the reason this family is still together.

I remember those years.

The years of conflict.

Of tears.

Of fights.

Of yelling.

Of chaos.

Of being alone.

Of you wanting something different.

But you stuck it out.

You kept showing up.

Again and again and again.

Why?

For us.

For your kids.

To make sure we had the best life we could.

And you did it.

Look at our lives now.

Look at what you’ve built.

3 great kids.

3 great humans.

3 great people.

An incredible house.

Great friends.

Family around you.

Experiences that few will get to live in a lifetime.

Very few can say they’ve built that.

Look at your life around you.

You deserve it.

You always have.

As much as we give you shit for being a Rinks sometimes,

Like being picky about food,

Or bothering us to clean our rooms,

Or making sure we were always awake before we were supposed to be,

You are the best.

You’ve done more for me than you can imagine.

You’ve taught me to keep things clean.

To always give more than you receive.

To take initiative if you wanna see people.

To be nice to everyone, even when you don’t want to be.

To be respectful.

To have social etiquette.

To show people you care through gifts.

To smile through the pain.

To show up.

To be strong no matter the circumstances.

To never be afraid of anyone.

These are all lessons I’ve learned from you.

And I’m a much better person because of it.

Thank you.

Thank you for everything that you do.

Thank you for who you are.

Thank you for being my mom.

I love you Rinks.

Shoutout to Rinks.
