We're all not who we're supposed to be

We're all not who we're supposed to be

March 17, 2022

We’re all not who we’re supposed to be:

We’re all not who we’re supposed to be.

We’re all putting on a charade.

We’re always playing a character.

How different that character is from who you really are is up to you.

It’s dependent on the image you created for yourself.

Your digital persona and personal persona are different.

This is how social media and celebrities trick people.

But also how those who are authentic win.

They’re not hiding.

They’re themselves as much as they can in public.

They have power.

Because they’re not trying to fake anything.

They’re living their authentic life.

Watched the Mr. Beast clip on Joe Rogan’s podcast this week and this guy is a genius.

He’s being authentic to who he is.

He loved Youtube.

He loved creating.

He didn’t care what anyone else said and just kept working.

Putting in those 10,000 hours.

And he made it.

Some people may attribute his rise to luck but it’s not.

This guy busted his ass for a decade.

At one point during the clip, he talked about how he realized when he could expand globally.

He knows.

Like I know and I talked about before.

This is how creators explode.

Distribute your content to the world.

Live your truth, then do it in other languages.

The human experience is universal.

Live what you’ve known.

Use the experiences you’ve had to make a positive impact in the world.

You got lucky.

Never forget that.

But I also busted my ass.

I worked for this.

I came up with these ideas.

I’m doing the work.

580 posts in 14 months are not out of nothing.

That’s work.

Yet I’ve only begun.

People don’t understand what I can accomplish.

I have a lot of ideas.

Now it’s about execution.

What can I build that leaves a positive impact on the world and makes me happy?

Writing.

Being my authentic self.

Being who I’m supposed to be.
