If you want to improve, be content to be thought foolish and stupid with regards to external things

If a person gave your body to a stranger he met on his way, you would certainly be angry. Do you feel no shame in handing over your own mind to be confused or mystified by anyone who verbally attacks you?
Be for the most part silent, or speak what is necessary in few words
Avoid frequent and excessive mention of your own actions and dangers
Do not show theorems to the unlearned but the actions produced by them after being digested
