About time:

About time.

Incredible movie. (Free link to watch here)

A reminder that we’re all going to go.

The future is undecided.

The past is uncertain and even if you wanted to change it, doing so means you didn’t get here.

You didn’t make it to this moment having lived all the experiences you’ve had.

The movie is about a man who’s a time traveler and goes back in time to meet the girl of his dreams.

It starts as a sappy romantic comedy but turns into something completely different.

Something incredible.

It’s about the story of a son and a dad.

How even with all the ability to travel back in time, there will come a moment when he’s no longer here.

When we no longer create new experiences with the people we love.

When all we want on someone’s deathbed is to just spend one more time taking a walk with them.

One more time playinng table tennis.

One more time talking to him while drunk.

One more time beating him on the golf course.

If we could just take ourselves back to those moments, then all would be right.

But we can’t.

We can’t change anything that happened but we can decide today to enjoy the beauties of life.

Appreciating waking up in the morning next to the person you love.

Watching your kids be little devils in front of you while your hair is on fire thinking about your big meeting.

Appreciating the job you have and the experiences of every day.

Learn to appreciate what’s in front of you.

Don’t focus on what you don’t have, focus on enjoying what you do.

We all wish we can change the past but we can’t and now you’re here.

You have to decide to enjoy this moment and appreciate what you have.

Life isn’t about an end goal or arriving at some place.

It’s about enjoying the small moments with your people along the way.

Damn, haven’t cried at the end of a movie like that in years.

We all need one of those once a while.

Watch it, you won’t regret it.
