Appreciate the moment in front of you:

Appreciate the moment in front of you.

Stop.

Look around.

What do you see?

Pay attention to something and watch it.

Focus on that thing.

Even it’s just for a brief second, focus on your environment.

Get out of your head.

Stop running fake scenarios in your mind about the past and future.

Why is your mind going 100 miles an hour?

Breathe.

Really breathe.

Take a deep breath.

Inhale.

Exhale.

The rule of 4 breathing.

4 seconds inhale. 4 seconds hold. 4 seconds exhale.

Repeat 5 times.

Stop for a second.

Focus on your breath.

Really focus.

Understand what it feels like in different parts of the body.

What’s the feeling in my legs?

What’s the feeling in my stomach?

What’s the feeling in my arms?

What does it really feel like?

Pause for a second.

Give yourself time.

How can you always give time to everyone else but not yourself?

Take a second for yourself.

If you can, take more.

Commit to your own self-development for a little time every day.

Could be even 10 minutes a day.

Everyone has an extra 10 minutes in their day.

If you don’t, open up your phone right now and show me your social media usage.

Stop lying to yourself.

You’re not too busy.

You’re just letting time go by.

Guess what, that’s gone forever.

Old people often talk about regrets.

What they didn’t do.

What they didn’t spend time on.

The chances they didn’t take.

The time they wasted with people who didn’t care about them.

Too focused on pleasing other people and not doing things for themselves.

You need to do things for yourself.

You need to spend time.

Spend time trying something new.

Spend time failing.

Spend time looking like a fool.

Then show up the next day and do it again.

And again.

And again.

Even the days you don’t want to do, do it.

Eventually, you’ll see progress.

That time you committed to bettering yourself, even if it was only 10 minutes a day, all of a sudden pays off.

In a massive way.

But no one will be there in those moments.

It’s you in your own head.

Deciding how you’re going to spend your time.

Do you want to spend it bettering yourself as a person?

Or do you want to let it go by?

We are all given the same 24 hours on this planet.

How you choose to spend it and what you choose to spend it on are up to you.

But if you want to be the best version of yourself you can be, you have to do the work.

You need to show up.

You need to prove it.

Talk is cheap.

Really fucking cheap.

Go do something and then talk.

Show your work.

When you say you’re gonna do something, go do it.

Stop making up excuses.

Do the work.

Commit to the process.

Commit to the difficult days.

Commit the time.

You cannot control the outcomes, but you can control the effort.

That’s on you.

You have to want to bad enough and put in the time.

In my opinion, you can’t do that until you can understand yourself.

How do you understand yourself?

Meditate.

Stop.

Breathe.

Focus on what’s in front of you.

Once you control the thoughts in your head and realize they’re just thoughts, it allows you to see clearly.

It forces you to stop and take control of your mind.

The mind is the most powerful asset to humanity.

First, you must believe, then you must do.

It’s really that simple.

The problem is most people don’t want to do.

They don’t want to commit the time.

Because there will be no payout for years, possibly decades.

Are you ready for that amount of work?

Yes.

When you appreciate the moment in front of you, you realize the journey is all that matters.
