Day 553 – Homeland series finale – Apr.26.20

Another show done forever. Just finished the homeland series finale and it was fantastic. Just as good right till the last moment. Man, to think about my life at the beginning when I watched this and how far I’ve come. I remember sitting by myself in my room in DRA watching episodes between classes to sitting in Southfield watching episodes to all the way inAmsterdam every Monday evening. My generation of TV is ending and it’s so sad, especially when it’s been for you for such a long time. Yet this is also the beginning of your next chapter and next stage in life. When TV/movies no longer define you but books and knowledge, that’s what going to take you to the next level. Never forget these moments though and how much these shows were apart of you. They have you an idea of what the world was like, from an American point of view, but were still part of shaping you. As much as you hated Carrie, she always had principles and was willing to do what’s right. Never forget that!
