It’s when the greeter at the conference has great energy and an infectious smile. It’s when you wake up in a 5-star hotel room you didn’t pay for. It’s when you walk along the streets of New York letting the world go by. It’s seeing a dog smiling at you on the street. It’s when you hear a CE super passionate about how their company is going to change the world. It’s when you watch Lebanese dancers create the most mesmerizing art. It’s when you hear the voice o a cancer patient singing an original song. It’s when you hear about how the best authors in the world also struggle with a blank page. It’s when you tour the office space of one of your investments. It’s when you hear the voice of the singer in your hotel lobby belting out Aretha Franklin. It’s when someone comments on your cufflinks. It’s when people ask you if you went to school with Will and Kate. It’s when people marvel at who you are and where you’re from. Inspiration is everywhere.
