Day 1412 - Aug.11.22 - You’re on the right path

Failure is the ticket price for success. Even then, it’s not a single failure or multiple failures but years of failure. Years of showing up again and again with no change in attitude or enthusiasm in working towards your goal. Your goal may not come true as a million things could happen before you get there, but you can control the effort you put in. You can control the work and time you put into attaining that goal. Whether that idealistic future comes true or not is not up to you. People may hate your stuff, you may die before any of this is released or the world might crumble under nuclear war. You have no idea what the future holds so all you can do is put in the time for a possible future that may never come while also enjoying the present moment. Be happy with where you are and how far you’ve come. Not many 27-year-olds in the world can they’ve accomplished what you have. Be proud of that because even though a lot of it was luck, you still had to work hard for some of it. 200 books in 4 years doesn’t happen just because, that’s hours and hours of reading in silence while the rest of the world scrolls through their phone worried about Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian. Keep doing what you’re doing because you’re on the right path. Stay patient, stay disciplined, stay consistent and have fun as much as you can.
