Day 1416 - Aug.15.22 - Teach people how you see the world

Tell your story. Speak your mind. You never know who’s paying attention and whose life could be changed by listening to you speak about your experiences. Teach people how you see the world. Articule to them why you believe what you believe, whether they choose to listen to you or not. Many people won’t care and will criticize you for being you but don’t mind them. Others may look to you as a role model and may see some of your positive characteristics as things they want to embody in their lives. Your responsibility is to be authentically you always and in all ways. Be polarizing. Be different. Be someone who chooses to call out what’s wrong in the world while also trying to offer solutions to the problems. Doesn’t mean you’ll be taken seriously or people will listen to you but it does mean you have a voice and are allowed to contribute to the conversation. Advance society through teaching people what you’ve been lucky enough to learn and experience. Focus on producing quality work in a few specific domains and then expand outwards as you continue to grow. Be consistent and stay disciplined, no matter the outside noise of the world. You can control the effort you put into doing your best but cannot control the outcomes or who chooses to pay attention. Continue writing what’s on your mind regardless of if people want to hear it. You have a responsibility to yourself, don’t let your opportunity go to waste.
