Day 778 – Day 273 Q – Dec.8.20 – Easy choices, hard life. Hard choices, easy life.

Damn, going back to read some of the things I’ve written is incredible. Because it almost feels like I’m teaching myself lessons that sometimes I don’t even know if I follow. But I know they’re correct. Like f*** other people’s opinions. They don’t matter. The only opinion that matters at the end of the day is your opinion of yourself. Not of your parents, your friends, your colleagues. Yes, it’s important to listen to them and hear their perspectives but their opinion of who you are is irrelevant. It’s up to you. Are you happy with the choices you make every day? Are you happy living the life you’re living and on a path that fulfils you and helps you reach your potential? If you are, great. If you’re not, figure it out. Because the only one who’s failing themselves is you. You’re the one suffering. Easy choices, hard life. Hard choices, easy life. Make the hard choices when they count and have conviction about what you believe in. The world is going to exponentially change over the next decade just as it has over the last decade. Your job is to see opportunities where others may not and go all in. This job is one of them. To the outside world it may look crazy but I know exactly what I’m doing. Even though you heard the podcast about all of these people they’ve liked, it doesn’t matter. You’re not them, you’re only you. Your experience and life story is yours and no one else’s. Own it. Be proud of it. Scream it out at the top of your lungs on the metaphorical mountain. It got you this far and it’s definitely going to take you where you want to go.
