Embrace the chaos:

Embrace the chaos.

The chaos of life.

Life is not a straight line, up and to the right.

It is far from that.

It is a windy road filled with hills and valleys.

Some days you’re up.

Other days you’re down.

Life is not supposed to work out the way you think.

Never was.

Never will be.

So what can you do?

Embrace the unknown.

Embrace the uncertainty.

Embrace the madness.

Life works in mysterious ways.

For most of us, it starts at the bottom.

With nothing.

Destruction all around us.

Negative influences everywhere.

Bad people throughout our environment.

We don’t know how to get out of that.

We don’t know how to escape it.

We can’t.

So what can you do?

Embrace it.

Accept it.

Cherish it.

Because there is only one.

Life will throw curveballs at you.

Situations you didn’t expect.

Circumstances you didn’t plan for.

Environments you didn’t know existed.

Yet there you are.

Figuring out how to deal with the bullshit of every day.

Just finished Conan’s documentary ‘Conan O’Brien Can’t Stop.’

A movie about a comic genius.

You can see how much it burdens him.

And yet how much it thrills him.

Comedy.

Performing for other people.

Always being on.

It’s exhausting.

People pulling you in every direction.

Little sleep.

On the road.

Hotels to airplanes.

Lots of photos and autographs.

Could he have ever imagined being in that situation?

Nope.

Yet there he was, making the best of his circumstances.

Doing the best with what he had.

He knows that life always tests you.

It’s up to you to figure it out.

There is no answer.

There is no blueprint.

There is no playbook.

It’s embracing every day as it were your last.

Showing up.

Doing the best you can.

And trying again tomorrow.

Embrace the chaos.
