Day 1607 - Feb.22.23 - Write what you want to read

Write about what you want to read. Not what anyone else wants to read but you. You are your audience. You are your worst critic. You are the one holding yourself back. Execute on what you want to see. So many ideas I’ve had I need to revisit. How does the music industry work? Who are the different parties and what are their roles? How do they make money and who’s making the money? It’s definitely not the artist. That only comes from touring. How do you analyze a clinical stage company? Is H3 going to solve the world’s energy problems? Is China really a threat to the American empire or are there demographics and consequences of the one child policy going to screw them in the future? How did the NBA game evolve from the early 2000s and what changed? Why are athletes getting more injured with better medicine and training anf knowledge when athleteres in the 80s/90s routinely played games? Questions like these and essay responses to them is the stuff you should write. Not anything else. It should always be about providing value but first doing it for yourself. Teach yourself what you want to know. Write it in a way in which you would enjoy. If you like it, some other people will as well. If you do it for long enough, you may be writing for the world instead of just yourself.
