Day 1195 - Jan.4.22 - 1st break-up

X broke up with me today. She played the whole it’s not you, it’s me vibe. She wasn’t ready. Didn’t feel committed. Wasn’t giving it her all. Hesitant to continue. Skeptical of what the relationships could bring to her life. All good. I did everything I could. I have no regrets about the situation and am glad for the experience. Onto the next one. I gave such an effort but if the other person isn’t feeling it, there’s nothing you can do. Spoke to a friend about it and the example he gave me was if a newborn had to walk up stairs, you could be the best motivational speaker in the world but that baby isn’t moving. Emotionally unavailable people aren’t worth your time. If someone isn’t as invested as you are, move on. See how they are for a bit, see how they act and how committed they are to you and how much they care, then make a decision. We had a lot in common. Most people would think she’s nuts given her discipline and schedule, but I liked that in her. Go get what you want. Also grateful it happened only a few months into the process. Better knowing now than later. Keep being you big guy, the right person will find you.
