Never forget how people treat you. Watch their actions, not their words. If you really mattered to them, you would know. No one at work said ‘Happy Birthday to me,’ even a colleague who took it down last year. Not many people said thanks for the gifts you gave them over Christmas. Never forget that. If you really mattered, they’d show you. When you make it big and leave it behind, never forget the little things. That’s what really matters. Going the extra little mile makes people remember you. Keep doing it but don’t expect anything in return. Wait it out the next few months and see where everything goes. If you are truly right, everyone will know. They’ll wish you stuck around and contributed your ideas. They know you’re going somewhere but make sure the only people along the way really care. The ones who show up when no one else does. The ones who make an effort. They matter more than those who don’t. Go build your empire and don’t let anyone tell you it’s impossible. It’s only impossible because no one has done it before. It means you can be a trailblazer. Make sure those you keep around you are in it for the long haul. This is a 50 year project that’ll hopefully get off the ground soon. Keep investing in yourself. Keep getting better every day. Keep pushing yourself to do things that seem crazy. You’re the only one stopping you. Let’s go!
