Day 180 – Mar.12.19 - 6 months of journaling

Almost at a half year and I can’t believe it. My life over the last 6 months has changed so much and went through so many iterations than previous years. Read a few entries back and I’m really happy I did this because it can bring back so many memories down the line. Was reading Pimp by Iceberg Slim and it’s a filthy book with a ton of slang in it, but also such an interesting story. One paragraph struck me in particular and he said he heard it from a guy in prison. When you close your eyes, your brain is your movie theatre. There’s no point in playing a bad movie because you’re the only one watching it. Therefore you should play a good positive movie in your head because that’s the only way to stay sane. So true. It’s amazing continuing to believe in the power of positivity because good things are happening. I think I’m getting impatient because nothing concretely has happened yet but that being said, I’m very happy with the work I’ve put into the process because it’s a game. In the industry I’m in, I’m only going to outsmart it by playing the game and constantly evolving. Play everything under the radar but continue to work at it. Just put your head down, take risks and go change your life!
