Day 763 – Day 258 Q – Nov.23.20 – Focus on you

Don’t let other people decide the life you want to live. Focus on you and what’s best for you in the moment and in the future. Because everyone around you brings their own bias and experience into their decision making process and they deflect it on you. Understand what they’re saying and try to figure out why they’re coming from the perspective they have, but ultimately make the decision that’s best for you. You isn’t always you as well but your priorities. At a certain age, you have to make the best choices for your family but at this moment in time, focus on the most exciting and challenging opportunities for you. Look for challenges and seek opportunities to be uncomfortable. Those are the places that will give you massive perspectives on life. Continue to learn because that’s what difficult situations do, they’re the ultimate learning experience. You can’t grow if you’ve never had your belief system, skills or work questioned. Remember though where the learning is coming from because only listen to it if you would go to that person for advice. Otherwise don’t listen. Learn from the experience itself and let that inform how you’ll make the decision next time. Opportunities in your life will come and go, and if you don’t take advantage of them, then you’re the only one that’s going to suffer. Don’t suffer. Do things that seem crazy and wild. Be who you want to be and don’t let anyone stop you from achieving your potential. Let’s go!
