Day 1643 - Mar.30.23 - Don’t worry about celebrity

Don’t desire to be a celebrity. It’s a strange culture. Strange world. The goal of celebrity is to maintain relevance for as long as possible. At least for those like the Kardashians whose only job is to be known and seen. Don’t aim for that, it’s a fool's game. Instead aim for impact. Aim for making a difference. Aim to be a good person and actually help people’s lives. Positively contribute to their lives in the best way you know how. Being a celebrity is overrated. Sure you meet interesting people and get tables at restaurants but it’s lonely. It’s a lonely road with no respect for your privacy. You can’t disappear anymore. Like Virat Kohli said in his interview with Graham Bensinger, it’s like being trapped in jail. You can’t do anything outside but sit at your house and pass time. You don’t want that life. You don’t want those problems. You don’t want the struggles that come with that. Instead look for similar people doing similarly cool things. Figure out how to meet the best people in their fields doing the most interesting work. Push the boundary and don’t be afraid to reach out to them. Don’t be afraid of sticking your neck on the line and asking the best for help. You’ll never know who you’ll be able to meet on your journey. Don’t worry about celebrity, worry about value
