Day 250 – May.15.19 - Appreciation of the journey

Damn how lucky I am. Going through old entries always reminds me why I did this. To have a snapshot of so many days and experiences brings back memories that you didn’t even know existed. It’s also the reason I feel more thankful than ever. To have had the experiences I’ve had my age doing what I’ve done, it feels like 1/1. I think it’s just insane people forget how lucky they are to be living the life they have because they don’t know what it’s like around the world. To have had the ability to see the entire world with our family is something so special and so unheard of. To grow up in a household, although dysfunctional many times, had an inspiring marriage. To go through all the BS we’ve had in our lives and still reach this point, it’s a testament to the strength of family. It’s also important to remember that we’re still so lucky because so many people around the world don’t have the luxuries I’ve been able to enjoy my whole life. I’m truly part of 1% but it’s so important to remember where you came from and stay grounded. Say thank you more often because it’s such a loving world and you should be happy!
