Day 564 – Day 53 Quarantine – May.7.20 - Own your story

Write more. Your opinion is valid. Your story is valid. Own it. Take control of it. Show it. Be vulnerable. Embrace your flaws. Trust me, right now you more about the world than probably 90% of people out there. So talk about it. Teach people about what you see because remember, it’s your opinion. Whether or not people hate you for your opinion, it’s irrelevant because you know you have something to say. Talk more, show more. The stories you have, the knowledge you’ve learned. Watched Michelle Obama’s documentary today and it was so awesome because you have to own your story. When she talked about that she’s been in the greatest rooms in the world w/ the most powerful people and realizing that most of them are pretty stupid is so refreshing. It’s a constant realization that nobody has any idea what they’re doing and if they tell you they do, they’re lying to you and themselves. Remember that as well, never doubt your judgement and your knowledge. You deserve to be exactly where you are because you earned it. Go out there and tell your story!
