Day 1116 - Nov.6.21 - Focus on the process

Do not think about the outcomes. Focus on the process. If people understand you, great. If they don’t, forget about them. People don’t need to understand you. You have to focus on what you want to accomplish in life and go after it. There will be no shortcuts. It will be hard. You will face a lot of failure and a lot of bad days. Don’t matter, keep pushing. Keep living your truth. No one will like everything you do. No one. But they dont’ need to. As long as you like it, that’s all that matters. Write for you. Write so that a kid around the world has an opportunity to learn from your experience. Most of your writing will be shit. That’s ok. That’s part of the process. Failure and criticism come with the territory. Doesn’t mean you shouldn’t pursue your goals. Push. Keep going. Keep going. You have a ton of work ahead of you. If you want to turn these blog posts and journal entries into podcast episodes, good luck. It will take you years. Years of speaking into a microphone with no one around you to help. Are you ready? The path to greatness is lonely but doesn’t mean you shouldn’t pursue it. Focus on the work, do the mundane well over long periods of time and keep improving. Focus on the process, not the outcome and you’ll be golden!
