Sep.4.23 - Day 1802 - It takes two to make something work

Rejection. Rejection. Rejection. It sucks. Never really gets easier. But you get used to it. You understand it’s part of life. It’s the universe telling you not to proceed down that path of life. As hard as it is to accept, the sooner you do it, the better off you’ll be. Been a few girls now who have never followed up after dates. Is that me or them? Probably both. It takes two to make something work and if the other person isn’t willing to try or show up, then what’s the point in doing the same. It’s good these people are rejecting me. They don’t know what they’re missing. They don’t understand who I am, what I’ve done and who I’m going to become. If they don’t want to be a part of that, good. It’s better for me. Where you’re going in life, you need someone who gets it and is willing to support you through whatever you do. Be patient. That person will come at the right time, not before or after. Just wait. Once your stuff is out there for the world to see, they’ll understand. People will get it. And if they don’t, doesn’t matter. Keep showing up. Keep trying. Keep looking for your person because they are out there somewhere. It’s good being rejected, means you’re one step closer to finding your person.
