Precious metals are moving east

Precious metals are moving east:

Precious metals are moving east.

The East is disproportionately buying more gold and silver than the West.

They understand history.

Fiat currencies are not money, gold and silver always are.

Sure you can use your dollar today to buy things but what happens when the value of that gets destroyed over decades by politicians printing trillions?

Then what?

Is your dollar worth the same?

Absolutely not.

Yet one gold bar or a few silver coins will always have value.

People in the West aren’t paying enough attention to the fact that these precious metals are moving East.

After Russia invaded Ukraine and America unilaterally decided to take them out of the global financial system through the SWIFT ban and freezing their reserves, global central bankers woke up.

If America decides tomorrow that they don’t agree with what you’re doing, good luck.

I can guarantee you right now that China is doing everything they can to sanction-proof themselves against America’s actions prior to them taking Taiwan.

They know.

They’re not stupid.

If/when Xi decides to take Taiwan, which by all accounts is likely happening within the next decade, he knows how screwed he can be if he’s not prepared for Western sanctions.

Guarantee you he and his cabinet have had many meetings and it’s not even a secret anymore.

Niall Ferguson, one of the great historians of our time, even talked about it recently on his Tim Ferris podcast appearance

He knows that Cold War 2, as he put it, could lead to a hot war very quickly.

We tend to think of history as definite but as he spoke about in the episode, it’s worth understanding the things that didn’t happen in history that just have easily could have.

For example during the cold war, the Soviet Union and America got a few minutes away from starting a nuclear war if not for the smarts of an incredible Russian man named Stanislov Petrov

It’s just an example of history can go very differently depending on the actions of very few individuals.

How Xi, Putin, Modi and MBS think about the future of currencies will radically change the way we think about the world.

Most of us have only known a US dollar reserve currency world.

Yet throughout history, every single currency has failed.

Every. Single. One.

America’s will be no different.

Whether that happens within a few years or within the next few decades is anyone’s guess.

But I can guarantee you that the East is preparing for the inevitable downfall.

There’s a reason they're stacking precious metals right now.

Don’t be shocked when you started to see prices of gold and silver skyrocket as the world dumps US dollars and buys gold.

Remember, history doesn’t always repeat itself but it does rhyme.

Gold and silver have been used as money for centuries.

The American dollar - not so much.

There’s a reason precious metals are moving east, hope you’re paying attention as to why.
