Start lifemaxxing:

Start lifemaxxing.

Have heard this word recently.

Lifemaxxing.

A Gen Z slang.

The idea is this.

To get the most out of life.

To optimize everything.

Health.

Relationships.

Career.

Family.

Financial.

Hobbies.

Friends.

Knowledge.

Everything.

Max out all of it.

Everything you can get out of life.

Do your best.

Aim to be the best.

The best that you can be.

It’s possible.

But it will be brutal.

Difficult.

Lonely.

Isolating.

You will lose people along the way.

People will hold you back.

The old you will hold you back.

Don’t let them.

Be the best you can be.

The best version.

And if you don’t know what that version is, find it.

Been having this conversation recently with a few friends.

We’re in our early 30s now.

Our 20s are gone.

Now it’s what comes next.

Some of them have started to fully get into their careers.

Get married.

Start having kids.

Others are still in transition.

Still figuring it out.

One of my friends in particular is stuck.

Lost.

Not sure what’s next.

He climbed the medicine ladder.

Got all the way to the end to be a fully qualified family doctor.

And as he said, now what?

Doesn’t know what’s next.

Doesn’t know where to go.

Doesn’t know what’s the purpose of all of it.

We had a long convo a few days ago and my advice was this.

Go find it.

Go search for what makes you happy.

Be intentional about your life.

Decide what you want and go after it.

No one is coming to save you.

No one.

Life is a single-player game.

It’s you against yourself.

Against the world.

You need to figure it out.

You need to try a bunch of things.

Fail at a bunch of things.

Figure out what you like.

Do more of that.

But be intentional about it.

Be direct.

Go after it.

Don’t let anyone tell you what you can and can’t do.

Go chase what you want.

And if you don’t know what you want, go figure it out.

Start with your fitness.

It’s what started with me.

Choose to get in shape.

Get in the best shape of your life.

It only takes a few months.

Leave everything else the same and just start optimizing your physical fitness.

As you do that, notice how good you feel.

How much self confidence it gives you.

How you see yourself in the mirror.

Then add other things.

Small steps.

Small habits.

Small changes.

For me, it was reading.

Writing.

Meditating.

A little bit.

Every.

Single.

Day.

It’s been over 7 years.

And I’m still going.

These habits have taught me a lot.

Taught me how much I can achieve.

Showed me how much there is to learn.

And how much there is to grow.

I want to get the most out of life.

Life is too short.

We think we have time.

We don’t.

Death comes for us all.

It could all end tomorrow.

So why not try to be the best you can be?

Best version of yourself possible.

Start lifemaxxing.

It’ll be the best choice you ever make.
