Sucked into the vortex:

Sucked into the vortex.

It’s so easy.

So easy to be sucked into the matrix.

To scroll through videos.

To scroll through reels.

To scroll through your feed.

So easy.

So second nature.

So meaningless.

They’ve made it so easy.

Billions of dollars and the best psychologists on the planet.

Designed to keep you on.

To keep you engaged.

To keep you hooked.

Like a drug addict.

Like a gambling addict.

Like a sex addict.

The same dopaminergic pathway.

Constantly hitting the pleasure centre of your brain.

Using your brain wiring against you.

They know how this works.

Keep you on the app.

Keep your eyeballs on screen.

Keep your attention engaged.

So they can sell you something.

So they can manipulate your mind.

So they can show you the world you want to see.

That’s all our algorithm is.

What we want to see of the world spitted back at us.

The shock factor.

The weird shit.

The negativity and lies.

Showing you what you want to see

Showing you what you want to believe.

Showing you a distorted view of the world.

The world doesn’t exist on your screen.

It exists in front of you.

Directly in front of you.

Savour that time.

Learn to stop and appreciate it.

Time is your most important asset.

And all of us waste so much of it every day.

We don’t know how long we’re here.

We don’t know how long we’ll be in the spots we’re in.

We don’t know how long we have till everything changes.

And yet we continue to waste our time.

We continue to let the world go by.

We continue to let our dreams die by our inaction.

We continue to watch the life we want be lost to history.

Why?

Because of these apps.

Because of these phones.

Because of these devices.

Be careful.

The vortex is so easy to be sucked in.

Don’t let it control you.
