There is no free speech:

Doesn’t exist.

America can convince you they are a beacon of free speech.

Same with Canada and other Western countries.

Liars.

Speech is only free when you’re able to talk about everyone.

Except for one issue.

Israel.

Can’t discuss them.

Can’t talk about how they’re committing genocide.

Or how because of Israel’s actions, Jewish people will suffer all over the world.

Anti-semitic attacks will continue to rise, even though most Jewish people have nothing to do with it.

They’re not Zionists.

However, there are many who are.

And boy are they powerful.

You say anything bad about them, and they will take you out.

They will destroy your livelihood if you say anything they don’t like.

Happened to me today.

Got on a call this morning with my 2 bosses.

‍

2 heads of the firm called me promptly at 9 am.

‍

Had that happen before so wasn’t expecting anything out of the ordinary.

‍

All of a sudden they say this.

‍

‘We’re putting you on indefinite paid administrative leave.

‍

This is a result of one of the posts on your website.

‍

It was about Israel’s war in Gaza and some comments you made about how they’re Nazis.

‍

We found this out over the weekend because one of our investors sent us your article.

‍

We’d recommend you take it down and any relation to Amplitude.’

‍

Damn.

‍

Post I had written months ago.

Hadn’t publicized it anywhere.

Was all of a sudden found by an investor.

‍

A wealthy investor who was *cough* a person who has an interest in Israel.

Surprise surprise.

So now I’m in limbo.

Was locked out of my email.

Locked out of my contacts.

‍

Had meetings set up all week.

‍

Conference later this week.

‍

Panel next week.

All canceled.

People are reaching out to me saying my email is bouncing.

All because I talked about an issue that they didn’t want me to talk about.

They were successful because I still need a job.

But now my ears are up.
