TikTok, China’s secret cyber weapon, is being used to slowly dumb down the Western world.
It’s a long game.
While Chinese kids are watching education and science be promoted on their timelines, western kids are watching stupid dance trends and meme reaction videos.
But it’s not just kids, it’s adults as well.
China’s subtly promoting distracting bullshit to destroy the West’s attention.
Particularly our kids.
They’re doing a damn great job of it.
Kids now are obsessed
Teens are obsessed.
Adults are obsessed.
Sure it’s nice to see what’s going on in your local area and be exposed to things you hadn’t thought of before.
But it’s slowly destroying our brain.
It’s destroying our attention.
It’s destroying our ability to be bored.
It’s destroying our ability to have a conversation.
It’s destroying our time
It’s destroying meaningful connections.
It’s destroying our mental health.
It’s destroying our ability to understand truth.
India knew the power when they banned it.
Once you have the youth of a country hooked on cheap dopamine, you can do anything you want.
People are missing the long game.
They’re missing the long-term strategy of the Chinese.
The USSR did this during the cold war.
Destabilize the West using psychology.
Psychological manipulation is at the heart of communism.
They know its power.
This is what China is doing.
But not only that.
They’re taking all the data.
Watching everything you do.
China’s AI capabilities are rapidly advancing beyond what anyone understands.
Eric Schmidt, the former CEO of Google, said it himself.
If the West loses the war on AI, they are fucked.
We might be already there.
The amount of data the Chinese government has access to is mind-boggling.
They’re watching billions of citizens all the time.
As long as they clean up the data and capture it prospectively, they can predict outcomes.
They can use their AI and ML capabilities to rapidly advance farther than any Western society could envision.
I saw it with my own eyes at a recent conference.
In Silico AI, started by a Canadian, presented an update about what they’re building in China and I was blown away. This could be the next great biotech company.
The amount of data they have access to and how they’re using it is beyond what anyone else has done.
It was mind-blowing.
Now think about that for Tik Tok.
Access to hundreds of millions of minds at the touch of an instant.
Slowly manipulating them into becoming dumber.
Focusing them on dumb memes and trends.
Distracting them from real issues.
The West’s use of TikTok is helping build the best AI algorithms in the world.
It’s a problem because it’s so good.
It’s so distracting.
It’s so addictive.
Don’t think China isn’t using it to its benefit.
We’re seeing the consequences even if we won’t confirm it for years.
