What’s the point of all of this?
What’s the point of all of this?
Of life?
Of making money?
Of having a family?
Of having friends?
Of having interests?
Of doing things?
Why?
We’re all going to die one day.
Everyone.
Every single person reading or listening to this.
You will die.
Burn it into your brain.
When that happens close to you, it hits you.
A family member dies.
Someone you knew your whole life.
Gone.
Just like that.
They weren’t supposed to.
They were supposed to live a long happy life.
They were supposed to be at your wedding.
And see your kids grow up.
Now they’re gone.
When they are, you will ask yourself this.
What’s the point?
What’s the point of all of this?
Of all this crap when those people are gone.
I don’t know.
All I do know is you’re still here.
You’re still alive.
You still exist in this world.
So do something with your life.
Use their death as inspiration.
Use it as motivation for when you’re feeling down.
Use them to fuel you.
Let your memories of them inspire you to take action.
To make something of your life.
Life will become hard.
It will feel like the world is closing in on you.
That’s when you have to remember them the most.
Listen to them.
Let them guide you to act.
You may ask, act on what?
Great question.
Whatever fuels you.
That’s it.
Remember this.
We’re all going to die.
So if we are, might as well use this time we have on this planet to do something.
Find that in service.
In service to yourself.
In service to the dead.
In service to other people.
Through that, you may find your purpose.
You may find the thing that drives you.
The one you always look forward to.
The one that keeps you going.
You don’t find that unless you ask yourself what’s the point of all of this?
Ask yourself that question.
See where that takes you.
