You have a story to tell

You have a story to tell

March 7, 2024

You have a story to tell:

You have a story to tell.

Hidden deep within you.

The one you don’t want to share.

The one you’re afraid of.

The one that makes you feel shame.

We all have that inside of us.

Insecurities eating away.

Afraid to show the world who we truly are.

So we hide.

We hide behind a facade.

Behind our ‘personalities.’

Behind our mask.

Yet it’s within us.

Within all of us.

We need more storytellers.

More truth-tellers.

More people being honest about the world they live in.

Those people are vilified these days.

Ridiculed.

Criticized.

Hated.

If you don’t conform, you’re isolated.

Pushed to a metaphorical island.

An outcast.

We need people who have the courage to stand up.

The courage to tell their story.

To be honest with the world.

To share what’s bothering them.

Not all of the good things.

But all of the bad things too.

Understand your story to understand the world.

Learn about your story.

How did you come to be?

What kind of environment were you raised in?

How does it compare to how other people lived?

Ask yourself these questions and search for answers.

Search for your story.

We need more storytellers.

Everyone has a story to tell.
